IPSWICH, 11 Feb 2003: In the "You can't put a gloss on CAFCASS" court case, Father Christmas was allowed to plead today in his full costume with hat and beard on. Difficult to keep a straight face! The CAFCASS team manager, Judith Hubert, mentions in her sworn statement the fact that some of the organised father's groups do not believe they have sufficient training, saying that "our staff are not qualified to make decissions which may result in children being placed elesewhere than themselves". Father christmas, his helpers and a damn good barrister will thus be able to cross examine such statements and provide the evidence to the merry band's assertions. Expert witness needed -- Oliver where are you? The whole situation is a farce now that CAFCASS have been billed for the lovely improvement work that was done to repaint the CAFCASS door. CAFCASS does not appear to be short of money since the lovely purple has been repainted to a dull grey. |
