Summer of Discontent Hotting Up

Monday June 17, 2003
Whatever it takes, we owe it to our children that Government listens!
Individual and Mass Action against the father cut-off policy of Family Courts reaches new heights.

"Friday's mass occupation was only a dress rehearsal! - They ain 't seen nothing yet!! ".

London, Monday 16th June 2003, 22:12PM
Outraged Father Takes Protest to New Heights.

Just 3 days after hundreds of protesters occupied the main secret UK Family courts, Dave decided to make visible his outrage at a secret Family court preventing him from parenting his daughter enough.

At 6.30 AM, acting alone, Dave evaded security guards, before courageously making his way up to the top of a 200 foot high crane.

The occupation of the crane brought a
ll work
on the massive Tower Bridge Building Site to a standstill. Dave's skyline protest continued deep into the night. Dave eventually came down. He was not arrested.

Construction firm Taylor Woodrow says they will "not pursue any charges".

The longer the campaigning has to go on to make Government listen, the more likely it seems that the hurt caused by civil rights violations in courts will drive individuals into lone acts of desperation.

Fathers-4-Justice is fully committed to non-violent acts of civil disobedience against father-cut-off institutions.

Commentary:
Summer of Discontent
- Breaking the chain of Silence.

Few would have suspected, just six months after three members of the new civil rights organisation Fathers-4-Justice painted the office door of the father-cut-off-institution CAFCASS with 'equal parenting purple', that the group's pressure and popular appeal would be able to claim the scalp of Government Minister Rosie Winterton.

Few would have suspected that fathers, mothers and grand-parents would have the courage to attack and occupy the centre of the UK family cut-off institutions without fear of braking the law, without fear of imprisonment for contempt, or fear of risking their skin to end the horrors that secret family court operatives have inflicted on a whole generation of children, parents and grand-parents.

As the summer moves on, further public protests are scheduled to take place.

Matt O'Connor's prophetic war cry "We'll be back, again and again" is being acted upon in every region of the United Kingdom. Media men and women used to working anti-social hours, are now providing platforms for public debate of issues which Government and its allied lawyers have tried to keep outside the scrutiny of the public.

Cutting fathers off from children is big business, worth at least £180 million every year to lawyers and barristers.
