Here a few expressions of the mood amongst UK fathers around the time of the The Observer article: Why is it
that we are all conditioned by society, solicitors, the state, the
media, friends, family and even fathers themselves that this is all
about 'seeing' their kids? If you want us
just to 'see' our kids we can do that with
a photo or video!. If you want us to parent our children then allow
us to be parents. "Got a crap court order after 3 years, allowed to go to the ex's house for 10 minutes a month, must stay downstairs, girls can stay upstairs!! Great eh??" Mathaeus "How many months and how many thousands of pounds did it take to get this amount of contact? This journalist will be getting a response from me as well." Paul "A contact order will include indirect contact. For the uninitiated the LCD and GOVT will play word games to hide the truth. Contact orders also include 3 e-mails per year, letters to be sent until the child is 18 and then shown, one hour a month in a contact centre etc etc. Weasle words and weasle actions." Shaun "Should fathers have more rights? Of course not. Fathers should enjoy the same rights as mothers, and it is clear that our judicial system does not support that view. It is simply unacceptable to demand equality of treatment on grounds of nationality, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or age while ignoring the discrimination against fathers whose only "crime" in many cases was to fall out of favour with their children's mother." Paul L. " F4J
is a threat to the huge asset stripping of families. FNF have
successfully quelled
demos etc. for the past thirty years.
Note also the 'best interest of the child' crap - best financial
interest of the abuser and sod the child." Dave 30 years of inactivity, 30 years of suffering in silence, 30 years of nice polite letters. Being nice has not worked, the abusers are frightened all the way to their mansions built on foundations of child abuse. Let them fear retribution from those they have abused." David "The LCD has shown its true colours once again by choosing to ignore its own figures. 50% of all contact orders are flouted and as a result 100 children every day lose full or partial contact with their fathers. They've played right into our hands. We have more evidence to prove that they are ignoring the problem in the hope that it (and we) will go away. But we won't. The men in black are coming and if we get it right, on Friday June 13 this movement is going to explode." Glen "Holocaust of the Heart" "Contact, access, these words which are the words of the prison visit [...] the very words are freighted with meaning" Bob On the issue of breaking orders ... Should a mother go to prison or get a community service order? Simple really, if one parent refuses to obey court orders then transfer full residence to a parent that will respect the law. Phil "Many people have said it was damaging to be labelled as militant. Frankly, we couldn't care less. The Observer piece has put FATHERS4 JUSTICE on the map. Every civil rights movement has been labelled militant and our ability to distance ourselves (who's heard of militant easter Bunnies?) through our use of humour from the Black shirts helps underline this." Matt " "aggressive"?? " We don't condone what the Blackshirts do - but unless things change in Family Law, many of our Fathers-4-Justice members may break away and take that route" Dave "The
United nations Charter says that 'in the event of a catastrophic
human
event' war is permisable against the authority perpertrating the catastophy. If
the Law which is set up for our own protection is not followed then there
is no Law and the rule of decent Human Beings becomes anarchy. |
