I am writing to you to inform you of an incident relating to my
son Alexander. On the 8th May 03, Alexander presented himself to
me in an extremely upset, frustrated manner. I was quite perturbed
by this. After sometime, amidst his tears, Alexander managed to
explain to me that they, i.e. the pupils of his form visited the
Post Office. They were then allowed or were instructed as part
of an exercise to write or draw something, and send it to their
Parents. My son explained that he wanted to send a letter to myself,
his father. He was given to understand that he was not allowed
to do so by a Mrs Georgian, he was quite inconsolable about this.
As you can appreciate, this matter has caused me great concern, and I
endeavour to resolve this situation by way of an explanation from yourself.
....
As you may be aware Alexander does not currently reside with me.
I would
like to know whether he would be allowed to send the nice work he is
doing to me for Father's Day? A prompt reply to the concerns I have
raised will be appreciated.
